    Default long restoration

Hello, this is a leading question obviously. But I'd like to put my experience in perspective. A couple of times, the host I use have had server break-downs that have taken over 24 hours to restore.

I'd be a fool to think that shared servers don't have problems. However, the long recovery disturbs me - is 24+ hours within reason? I know that the server has a couple hundred accounts so maybe this makes the process much more complex.

    Thankyou

It shouldn't take that long to recover from anything if things are set up properly. Even a full OS reinstall and restoring accounts shouldn't take that long.

Thanks for your answer. It's worth knowing.

FYI, I've just discovered that actually it took about 16 hours. The reason why I'm still in the lurch is because they didn't have a backup of my account, so I am waiting for them to manually reconfigure my dedicated IP and SSL.
