Perhaps it's not updating the RPM so it just keeps downloading it?

How do you know what is being updated, what log are you looking in to get that info?

Its a copy and paste from the cron /scripts/upcp/ that runs every morning. Dont you get on everyday? If you have the security update from DarkOrb checked you will get that output sent to you, at least you should.
