    Default Lost password to root.

Well I tried to access the root WHM this afternoon, and the details turned out invalid, though the sites I host is still up, and backup notifications are still being sent to me. I don't know if I got hacked or not, but is there a way I can get this restored? Is there a way cPanel can help me if I know the cP support number? Can my server host be able to change it for me, or would they have to reset it?

    Ahh.

If you have lost the root password or it is not working anymore then it needs to be reset by the DataCenter. If you have a dedicated server through any hosting company then request them for the root password reset and they will contact the respective DataCenter for it.
