lowest numbered MX record points to local host
More problems. I have 67 boxes of which 20 are cPanel. Every single one of them has one issue or another with cPanel. If its not one thing its another. The change password issue was on #57 now we have the MX record problem on another. No consistancy. All running the same build all reporting different problems on all 20 boxes. E87 is now reporting the MX problem on another box and my user was told she was not allowed to relay even after she had Authentication checked in Outlook. She is not trying to relay. She is trying to send email to one of her domains

I have it in my crontab:
0 4,16 * * * /scripts/mailperm 7 4,16 * * * /scripts/addfpmail Some how and for some reason, file permissions for Mail get changed on some accounts, to 644 instead of 660. The script corrects that. Could run it more often I guess, but twice a day seems to work fine. The additional "addfpmail" is for correcting FrontPage eMail settings -- just in case. cPanel.net Support Ticket Number:

Just enter them like this ?
# run-parts 01 * * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.hourly 02 4 * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.daily 22 4 * * 0 root run-parts /etc/cron.weekly 42 4 1 * * root run-parts /etc/cron.monthly 0 4,16 * * * /scripts/mailperm 7 4,16 * * * /scripts/addfpmail That would sure help so I wouldn't have to manually run mailperm over and over cPanel.net Support Ticket Number: |
