    Default Mail delivery problem

    Just noticed one of the accounts on our Cpanel server refuses to receive email, the account in question can successfuly send but will not receive as of a few hours ago, just get a local mail delivery error.

    Any ideas?

    Is there an entry for this domain in /etc/localdomains ?

    Did you run: WHM > Email > Rebuild/Fix Mail Dbs/Boxes ?

    One of the first things i tried, a few erroneous entries were indeed fixed but the main problem remains.

    make sure they haven't exceeded their allotted disc quota if assigned. maxed out disc quota for a particular account will prevent any emails from being added to their POP inbox

    The account in question is relatively small, seems the client is instantly receiving a mail delivery error upon using the account for outgoing email (eg: sending). Like the server is just flat out refusing the request, external and local addresses.

    Fixed, just destroyed the account and recreated it.
