    Default Mail Filter Files

Does anyone know the location of the mail filter config files?
There are some entries that won't delete from the cpanel filter list so I will have to remove them manually.

    Question

Same thing started happening with one of my resellers recently.

For example, if he goes to the Email Filters area of Cpanel and clicks the "Delete" button next to the filter, it tells him the filter has been deleted:
"$header_from: is "edirectadvertising.com" has been deleted."

But the filter is still there. The page is not cached in his browser, he has tried dumping cache, closing down, refreshing, etc...

    We're running
    cPanel Build 7.4.0-STABLE 6
    Theme cPanel X v2.2

Anyone else encounter this or know of a solution? Thanks in advance!

Cpanel now writes filter in two location. One in vfilters and the other in .filter file in the user directory. But when you delete, it does not remove from the .filter file.

    /etc/vfilters/domain.com and /home/user/

    Hope this helps

Go to /home/user/.filter and edit that file.
