    Default Mail Queue Building Up

The Mail queue on one server is building and building despite reinstalling exim, and with APF etc disabled. The only way of clearing this is by repeatedly using the "Attempt to Deliver All" feature in WHM.

Some of the mail in the queue appears to be recieved messages but they have not reached the inbox.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Any advise greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Im getting this in the exim log:

socket bind() to port 28 for address (any IPv4) failed: Address already in use: waiting 30s before trying again (4 more tries)

    Any ideas?

Your best bet is to check the Exim logs /var/log/exim or /var/log/maillog depending on your OS. You can copy&paste the portions of maillog looks suspecious
