how to redirect mail from source to target, so that the sourse will be empty after redirect?

If one the same server - and is a one time deal - why not just move the inbox file to the new mailbox?

Did you mean that you want to redirect email to another address, but you don't want email to collect in the pop account?

You don't need to create a pop account, if only an alias is needed - just create the alias email address without adding a pop account too.

delete the mail box account

and then use the forwarder feature

user@domain.com to forwarding@domain.com
