    Default Mail Server Problem

    Hello,

I am getting this error that says "temp local problem. please try later" when i try to send mail to my server from any location and any computer. It has been doing this now for several days. Do you know what causes it? How do I get it to stop.

I have restarted the mail server and the entire server already .. any suggestions?

    Thanks for ur help!
    Brian

Since the cPanel news server is online, perhaps you have issues with your /etc/resolv.conf file.

Are you running DNS on your machine?

NO DNS .. this all did start heepening when i got a error message regqarding that file and how it wanted me to set it up .. it asked me for some DNS info .. and i put in our other DNS server info ..

I am sure that is what screwed it up now that i think of it ..

Great! I think it got FUBAR'd last time because you had DNS issues. Glad everything is working again.
