mail server problem

My script is named respond.pl (chmode 755) in the cgi-bin, perl is set at !/usr/bin/perl -wT and sendmail is set at /usr/sbin/sendmail -oi -t
The form seems to process properly and re-direct to the thank you page however I never receive the Email

The form is set to <form method="POST" action="cgi-bin/respond.pl">
What is going on here, I cannot figure out what the problem is?

It would help if you posted the code that actual sends the email, plus you can drop the -oi switch if your using Exim MTA

How can I check if Exim MTA is enabled on the server? This is a new server that I need to configure a little further.
