mail troubleshooting issue

Hi,

I was checking the mail issue and when I troubleshoot I got follwign erroe message how could I fix it.

&Found a problem, mail cannot be routed to an external server
Either the domain is local and you answered otherwise
or their is a problem with the remote mail server if it
even has a dns entry&

Some of the email can be deleived and some of them not. What may be the issue.
