Default Mail to Valid Recipients Rejected

Earlier today I had to recreate the DNS zone file for a domain.

The new DNS Zone file was created without any problems and everything is resolving correctly.

However, the server will no longer accept mail for any address on that domain. Exim rejects all messages with a "550 Invalid Email Address" error even though the addresses are valid.

I've restarted Exim and Bind, I've checked etc/localdomains and etc/remotedomains and they are correct - so I'm at a loss as to why exim no longer recognises the recipients as valid.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Default

Server Surgeon fixed it for me ...

The domain was listed twice in /etc/userdomains - once listed as being owned by the 'system', the second by the account username. Once the one owned by the system was deleted, and the mail was able to be delivered.
