Default Mail wont send through exim

I have 2 customers on the same server, when one tries to email the other they get this:

Subject: Warning: message 16nnpD-00038O-00 delayed 24 hours

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).

A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on NJC10.nameserve.org.

    The message identifier is: 16nnpD-00038O-00
The subject of the message is: RE: agents listing
The date of the message is: Thu, 21 Mar 2002 07:52:12 +1000

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

    cust3@domain.com

No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for
some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message
remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up,
and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.

What does it say in /var/log/exim_mainlog when they try to email each other? Exim's notifier message isn't really as descriptive as it could be.

This is what it says, and there are tonnes of these:

    2002-03-22 04:57:26 16nfGy-0000tZ-00 == user@domain.net &user@domain.net& T=virtual_userdelivery defer (-43): Retry time not yet reached

Ah - you'll need the original message. Those are just Exim retrying. If you have a more recent attempt at a send from one user to the other, take a look at the logs. Otherwise, you can

    /usr/sbin/exim -qff

and have a look at the exact error message that's being generated when Exim attempts to deliver mail.
