Mailman :: error in new list confirmation mail

Hello to you all,

Facts: Mailman v. 2.1.5p1
Issue: When creating a list, the confirmation mail does not contain the originator domain info, but localhost.localdomain.

The mailing list `list_example.com' has just been created for you.  The
following is some basic information about your mailing list.

Your mailing list password is:
    *************
You need this password to configure your mailing list.  You also need
it to handle administrative requests, such as approving mail if you
choose to run a moderated list.

You can configure your mailing list at the following web page:
    http://localhost.localdomain/mailman/admin/list_example.com

The web page for users of your mailing list is: 
    http://localhost.localdomain/mailman/listinfo/list_example.com

... and the mail comes from mailman-admin@localhost.localdomain

Is there any config file to be modified?

check below variables in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman/Defaults.py file >>

DEFAULT_URL_HOST
DEFAULT_URL_PATTERN

Thanks for the answer,
however, this solves only part of the problem, since I host a number of (virtual) domains.
I cannot hardcode DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST and DEFAULT_URL_HOST variables, without getting into conflict with the orher domains.
I think the issue is deeper, into some variable asignation during mailing list creation.

Anyway, thanks again, this solution is better than localhost.localdomain.

Also check the host_name setting in General Options for the mailing list..there are a lots of settings ...just read out the docs at http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/docs.html and play with them...

nickb, thanks again ... but:

I've pretented to be one of my customers and created a mailing list from cPanel.
There are no options in cPanel: either you create a mailing list, either not, so the customer got a [localhost.localdomain] message. Creating the mailing list automatically sends the problematic message.

AFTER you create the mailing list (and get the erroneous message), you can administer it and play with the settings.

This [localost.localdomain] issue appears only in the 'Your new mailing list:' message. otherwise, the list is created ok, in the corresponding (real) domain, and the list site is also created into the right position.

I hope I'm not too annoying.
