mailman wont send anything?

hey guys,
Mailman will create lists ok, and will send the initial request for subscription confirmation.....
However, it will not respond to subscription confirmations and wont send out messages to the list when an email is sent to it...

Basically it wont do anything.........

Any ideas as to what might be the cause of this??

There's a queue directory in the Mailman install path (/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman, I think) where mail sits until it gets processed by the qrunner script. Check that directory and make sure it's empty.

If it's not, check the locks directory (also in the Mailman path) to make sure no lock files are preventing the script from executing. Failing that, check cron to make sure the qrunner script is getting called...should be called every minute I believe.

I've got the same problem accross two or three servers. Two tickets to CPanel.net have yeilded no results. Basicaly the same list keeps putting in a lock file, if you delete the lock file out within a couple minutes the files go back in, halting mailman for the whole server.

Try the check_perms script in the mailman bin directory to see if that will get it going. I've also resolved that by resinstalling the Python rpm from WHM.
