Can someone confirm a problem I'm seeing with mailman?

Problem: User adds a list (EX: tester). The list name then become tester_domain.com. Now the forwarders that it shows it created are not the same as the forwarders it actually creates.

Mailman states this: &To post a message to all the list members, send email to Tester_domain.com@domain.com. & however that alias was never created... instead the alias tester@domain.com was. This gets confusing to users since mailman is either giving false info, or the incorrect aliases are being made in the aliases file.

Now I actually like the aliases without the _domain.com part, but mailman's info and the aliases should be matching up.
