mails bouncing back / hostname not found?

SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
host mx.terra.com.br [200.154.55.2]: 450 Client host rejected:
cannot find your hostname, [xxx.xxx.122.1x0]:
retry timeout exceeded


dnsstuff shows the hostname is correct

The domain itself also shows correct plus it has rdns

mailboxes all show x amount usage out of 'unlimited' allowance too

What could be the cause?

If your hostname does indeed resolve correctly it would suggest that they've got broken DNS servers - nothing you can do about it.
