    Default MailScanner stopped working. Mail isn't delivered anymore.

    Today we had to disable MailScanner because with it email wasn't being delivered anymore.

    A tech from Burst checked it and he couldn't find anything so are there more people having this problem?

    We tried with the latest version but when mailScanner is turned on mail isn't coming in or going out anymore.

    So, only we are having this problem?

    We disabled mailscanner and everything works again but we really want to use mailscanner.

    Maybe because cpanel now uses exim 2.24 and something changed or something.

    I tried the cpanel mailScanner also but that doesn't work either.

    I also get MailScanner: unrecognized service all of a sudden when trying to run it after installation so what is next? I also tried the latest mailScanner without success.

    Can you help me mmkassem because cpanel techts aren't going to help on this one since it is ehm unsupported.

    they should support mailScanner ASAP in my opinion!

    Installing more than one MailScanner will usually generate problems.

    I would advice that you remove all MailScanner and re-do the installation again.

    Do not do the /etc/init.d/exim modification.

    My Article should work with exim 4.2x without a problem. If you need more help contact me via the email found in the article.

    Mahmoud, with your installation is there a way to disable Mailscanner for certain users or domains?

    I used the same tutorial and now my servers arent seding email. Something like smtp problem .. But I read all possible logs and nothing strange was found.

    Just one MailScanner isntalled

    Can someone help me ? I think MailScanner is a great tool, so I want to enable it again, but for this my server must send emails
