Exclamation Major Problem - all new accounts have 116MB USED BY DEFAULT!?

WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-S63 AND when I upgraded to WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-S73 I get the exact same problem.

All new accounts are not being setup properly by Cpanel - PLEASE ADVISE. When looking at a new account in root shell many things are missing.

    total 20
    drwx--x--x 5 testcom testcom 4096 Mar 15 11:36 ./

Where is the /etc and /tmp folder for this user?
I've tried creating different accounts with different usernames and domain names, I still get the same problem.

When I look at the new account in WHM it says it's over quota useage?

test.com [testcom] 116 meg (used) 50 meg (quota)

WTF is going on here guys! This is major and I can't create accounts anymore. Also all users with these accounts can't use their webstats programs!

    Help!

    WHM reports 116 MB used.

When I click on AW Stats in the users CPanel I get this message:

Error: Couldn't open config file "awstats.testthis.com.conf" nor "awstats.conf" after searching in path ".,/home/testthis/tmp/awstats/,/etc/opt/awstats,/etc/awstats,/etc,/usr/local/etc/awstats": No such file or directory

    - Did you use the correct URL ?
    Example: http://localhost/awstats/awstats.pl?config=mysite
    Example: http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?config=mysite
    - Did you create your config file 'awstats.testthis.com.conf' ?
If not, you can run "./../../tools/configure.pl"

@home this is a brand new account, I just made up the name testthis and I can assure you there are no other accounts using that name/group.

    Using RedHat 7.3

I did that already, it doesn't help.

That also doesn't explain why the /etc and the /tmp folders aren't in my users directory either.

Now it shows up fine (quota wise) in the users control panel but it's still listed as 116 Megs in WHM, after doing scripts/fixquotas and after closing and reopening my WHM window.

I am also facing the same problem as ramprage that awstats is giving problem. Additionally, analog/awstats/webalizer are not updating for some accounts too even though the user have not used up his diskspace.

Any solution to this? I am running WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-S73 RH9.

    Thanks a million.

I created an account the other day, the user started using their space and got shutdown. The directory had 3 megs in it but cpanel reported 998 megs. fixed quotas - nothing. Recreated the account and seemed to be ok - but a bit of a pain.
