Major Problem - Hard Drive Reload!!

Hi

Ive had a drive failure on one of my servers and ive just had a new drive (with a clean install of cpanel/whm) installed. I have the old drive slaved so i can grab the old data off it.

Now, Firstly, I think the reason for the failure was a failed attempt to upgrade to cpanel 11! I need to restore all my clients accounts from the slave drive (so i copy the home directory), other than httpd.conf, what other files will i need to copy from my slave drive to restore full functionallity to my clients accounts? (I can set up the nameservers etc, its just ensuring that all the websites, DNS records and SQL databases are copied over).

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

I assume no backups are available to recreate the accounts and then rsync the /home and var/lib?

First off, no software upgrade failed or otherwise will kill a hard drive.
If you truly indeed have an actual hard drive failure then it has absolutely
nothing to do with your recent upgrade to Cpanel 11.

Second, the following thread contains a script that could be easily
modified to do drive to drive copies instead of remote copy and
shows you what files and folders need to be copied:
