make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1

Hello,
i configured php with ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --prefix=/usr/local --with-xml --enable-bcmath --enable-calendar --with-curl --with-dom --with-dom-xslt --with-dom-exslt --enable-exif --enable-ftp --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local --with-png-dir=/usr --with-xpm-dir=/usr/X11R6 --with-gettext --with-iconv --enable-mbstring --enable-mbstr-enc-trans --enable-mbregex --with-mcrypt --enable-magic-quotes --with-mysqli --with-mysql=/usr --with-openssl --enable-discard-path --with-pear --with-pspell --enable-safe-mode --enable-sockets --enable-track-vars --with-ttf --with-freetype-dir=/usr --enable-gd-native-ttf --with-xmlrpc --with-zlib and it completed sucessfully, however when i 'make' got an error "make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1".




Any help would be greatly received.

Try searching the forums for that error message which has been covered on several occassions, i.e. sapi/cli/php

which version of php are you trying to compile?
