    Default malformed htaccess kills apache

    Do you know any solution to prevent this?

    Basically every customer can bring server down with malformed htaccess.

    Is there any solution to prevent this?

    This doesn't help:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteOptions MaxRedirects=5
    </IfModule>

    thanks
