Default Mask a redirect for a subdomain?

I am trying to mask a URL redirect on a subdomain, i.e. so IE displays the subdomain not the URL of the redirect. Tried trailing / or without, seems to make no difference.

    Any help?

the simplest way its to use what is known as a transparent frameset, basically all it is, is a frameset with only one visible frame, although doesnt do your SEO any good if you need the content indexed

Would this be a good solution if I'm using a Content management system?
