    Default Max Open Files

I searched the forums but came back with apache problems. When you install CPanel it drops the max open files to 100. Now RedHat will not let me increase any of them back to the standard 1024.

Anyone know how to increase it back?

    Thanks for any assistance.

Forget this posting. I found 2 newer files that I forgot to edit.

    Default where?

I'm a bit of an apache novice - but I'm getting the same problem (max open files). Where do you change it back (this too happened after upgrading cpanel).

    Thanks for your help
