Migrate WHM Reseller account without root access?

We have a client who has a WHM reseller account with some other company, and we want to help him migrate 300 accounts over to our server. We have full root access to our servers, but he doesn't have full root access on the current Reseller account he has with the other company.

Is there a way to migrate all of his accounts in his WHM Reseller account? What is the procedure and easiest method? Is there a plugin somewhere that can make this easy?

You can only transfer multiple accounts, if you have root privileges of the remote server and is having a SSH access using the option

WHM >> Transfers >> Copy Multiple Accounts/Packages from Another Server

else you will have to migrate each account separetely from the option

WHM >> Transfers >> Copy an Account from Another Server with Account Password

This is the one feature that resellers are missing. Moving massive reseller accounts over without root level access is a major PITA.

Your best bet is to ether have the provider that has root level access to create cpmove files for all of the accounts and place them into the resellers home dir so you can FTP/SCP them to your server or you will have to log into each (you can use the reseller override and use the drop down list to speed this up) cPanel account and click on the Backup icon. Then click 'Generate/Download a Full Backup' at the top of the next page. Then choose Secure Copy Protocol for Backup Destination. Enter your server's IP for Remote Server. Use root as the User and the root password for Remote Password. Port will be 22 and Remote Dir will be /home. Once this has been transferred, you can go into the WHM and click 'Restore a Full Backup/cpmove file' from the Backup section.

Good luck with getting things moved over. It is going to be a pretty big task either way with ~300 accounts.

cPanel needs to come up with a solution that can enable admins to migrate massive Reseller accounts without making it so tedious.
