Migrated from plesk, problem with ftp accounts (web users)

When I login to the control panel for that user, the folder shows as /dev/null. I cant edit that users, only delete. Im using PureFTPD, but can only find a config file for proftpd/passwd.vhosts file.

I need to make some manual changes to folders since i dont seem to be able to do them through the control panel. Do I edit the file listed above anyway (tried didnt seem to make a change).

this thead explained it. Basically, no matter if your using pro or pure, it defaults to the proftpd config and uses a wrapper of sorts. so you can edit individuals in the /etc/proftpd/username file.

Anybody know how to get site.com/~username working again? We've migrated some sites from Plesk to cPanel that included web_users, and we need those web_users to function the same in cPanel as they did in Plesk.
