Default Migrating to new server (nameserver question)

I'm migrating to a new server of which I'm going to use the same hostname and nameservers as my old server.

I'm using cPanel, and I've setup the hostname and assigned the nameserver ips, however I can't add the A entry for each nameserver because cPanel is picking up the old ip's and asking me if everything looks correct of which it isn't.

What do I do about this? Is the A entry of immediate importance, or can I add them once I update the nameservers with my registrar and cpanel picks up the new ips?

    Your help would be appreciated.

I believe you update your nameservers at the registrar
