    Default Migrating whole WHM server

I have a small dedicated server running WHM with a handful of non-commercial clients.

What is the best course of action to migrate the WHOLE installation to a different/bigger box? I've spend a fair bit of time and effort tuning firewalls and access lists and it would be great if I could avoid doing that again.

    Current box is CENT-OS.

The best course of action would be to use WHM > Transfers > Copy multiple accounts/packages from another server area on the new server to copy the accounts over from the old server.

That option will connect to the old server, package each account, transfer each package to the new server and extract the account there. This transfer package would be a full cpmove file for each account that includes all the /home/user files, all the databases, and so on.

Edit: As Infopro points out, there isn't another option in cPanel / WHM right now to clone anything else. The feature request only covers cloning the WHM settings, Apache settings, and so on so those don't have to be re-setup.

You will be doing this again. Best to give yourself some time with both servers till you've got the new one setup just like the old one was.

There is a Feature Request ongoing you might like to sign onto located here:

But that won't help with firewall, access lists and probably a few other items here and there you want brought over.
