Why does CPanel use mod_auth_mysql 2.20 when latest is 2.30a (www.polestar.org/auth_mysql/)??????

It doesn't matter, you have not to compile it with Apache if you need PHP

    123,

    I agree with ITF
    mod_auth_mysql is incompatible with PHP

We tried to install mod_auth_mysql 2.30a on a non-cpanel server there are so many stability issues with auth_mysql and php

Can anyone tell me how to make sure mod_auth_mysql is not installed or not enabled. When I do a locate mod_auth_mysql I see lots of files associated with mod_auth_mysql, but how do you safely get rid of it?
