mod_bandwidth.c don't work

I installed mod_bandwidth but it don't work, I insert in httpd.conf this rows:

<IfModule mod_bandwidth.c>
BandWidthModule On
<Directory "/home/user/public_html">
MaxConnection 2
BandWidth all 225000
</Directory>
</IfModule>

But the website is normality

I have tried to add this in the virtual host:

<IfModule mod_bandwidth.c>
<Directory "/home/username/public_html">
BandWidthModule On
BandWidth all 8000000
</Directory>
</IfModule>
</VirtualHost>

I also tried the script:

/scripts/setbwlimit –domain=example.com –limit=8000000

Can someone please clear up simply how to use mod_bandwidth with cpanel and apache 2.0.

Also it would be nice if anyone knew of a code to check if mod bandwidth was installed correctly. "Service httpd status" type thing for mod_bandwidth

I just found out mod_bandwidth does not work with Apache 2.0

That explains a lot!
