Mod_Perl Question

Can i manually install mod_perl on my cpanel server without breaking PHP,

If so, is there an easy method of doing it eg: RPM, If not i can manually compile.

thanks for the reply.

I can install mod_perl no problem i need to know if i can use it with PHP though because someone says it breaks cpanels PHP.
