Default mod_security2 - how to disable it via .htaccess ?

mod_security2 - how to disable it via .htaccess ?

SecFilterEngine Off in .htaccess as in mod_security v1. lead to Error 500.

Any ideas ? Apache2+mod_sec2 has been compiled via EA3.

    I have same issue.

It looks like support for .htaccess files was discontinued in mod_security2:

The only way I found so far is putting SecRuleEngine Off in <VirtualHost> section of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf.

mod_security2 cannot be disabled via .htaccess. It can only be done inside of the VirtualHost of httpd.conf

And that is good news for all Hosters.
