Nothing wrong with it per SE, but I'd still like to see ProFTPd with mod_tls.

Proftp IS compiled with mod_tls that's why my how-to on using SSL_FTP works. It's in the general section if you're interested and I believe snickn has it on his site. http://www.cpanelfaq.org/004/107.html
