Default Modify an Account user's name.

    Greetings-

Will modifying an account holders name automatically change their name on their webmail?

In other words, if their email and user name was happy@me.com. User name happy to log in to their cpanel. And I changed the user name to sad, will their e-mail be sad@me.com after the change?

...and I am assuming that they will have to change their name on any data bases, PHP type, that they have created in the past.

No , It will only change your CPanel user name.Your email account "happy@me.com" will remain same.

Are you sure? It would seem to me that it would change, assuming that 'happy@me.com' wasn't configured as an actual email account, but was simply the account-name default address...

Otherwise, changing the name to 'sad@me.com' would have to do one of two things to keep receiving mail for 'happy@me.com':

    a) create an actual email account
    b) create a forward from 'happy' to 'sad'

Not having tested this, it's purely an educated guess...
