Default Modifying user's domain with 'Modify Account'

I have a customer that wants to convert his account from using a .com domain to the .org version of it. He's not renewing the .com version so simple parking will not suffice.

Has anyone tried using the 'Modify Account' tool in WHM to change a domain name? Does it update everything (ftp, email, etc.) properly?

This is rather time critical, so if anyone has input, please do so asap. If I don't get any responses, I'll have to tell the customer that we need to blow away his account and will need to recreate everything from scratch.

    Thanks,
    Jaz
