Question Monthly bandwidth did not reset?

It appears that at least 3 of my accounts bandwidth didn't get reset at the beginning of the month as normal.

Is there a way to force this to reset? or is there somewhere I can look for the problem?

I'm running 9.2.0-R24 (I know.... time to update).

Thanks in Advance!
Diane

Hello Diane,

Bandwidth is set to reset itself on the first of every month.

You can reset bandwidth in WHM:

Main >> Account Functions >> Reset Package Bandwidth

Hope this helps! If not, I could help you research the problem some more.

Thanks for the reply!

It seems that that option will reset any accounts back to the default package, and I don't think that is what I need.

The problem I am having is that the current stats don't appear to be reset.

OR....

After some more investigation, would it be possible that the decimal is off one place??? I have an account that ususally runs 8GB/month. This month (on today, the 12th) it is showing 36.8GB, which would make sense if it was 3.6GB at this day in the month.

Any thoughts?!??!

Thanks again!
Diane

Diane, Cpanel is experiencing a bit of an issue with bandwidth right now. You might want to watch the progress in this thread: Bandwidth usage does not match..

So far the fix is in the release version, so if you are confident enough in CPanel’s code you can update to Release and it will fix the issue (and potentially introduce a host of other bugs). Alternately, you can lift any bandwidth restrictions you have placed on your clients accounts, and wait with the rest of us for the fix to filter down to the Stable release.

Thanks Fillos!

I looked at layer2.cpanel.net and am I reading right that 9.9.2-STABLE_9 is out.... and from the above thread that should fix?

I've always had the philosophy "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" with cPanel... So, apparently it is once again time for me to update. I try to minimize my suffering by doing updates as infrequently as possible!

Best Regards,
Diane
