Default move all reseller accounts to new dedicated server

is there an easy way to do this, since we dont have root access to the server with the reseller's accounts and want to move ALL of them to a new dedicated box...

anything we can do other than move each single handedly thru WHM?

If you got read access and you can gzip them up and fxp transfer it. The new reseller account would be more likely to be required to be using the same login info.

Well the transfer system in there just requires a Username and password to transfer.
I would say its much easyer then backing up everyones files, and then transfering them.
This may take some time but, its worth it. See the reason why it requires root access is because peoples files are not "Yours". They are all in the home directory.
    Thanks,
    Brian

The easiest way to do is to login to each customer's cpanel using their username and your reseller password. Run backup through cpanel and ftp it into your new server using your ftp username and password.

Then you will need to unzip and untar one by one and rename the directory to cpmove-<username> (Make sure cpmove-<username> directory is in /home otherwise it won't work)

The last thing for you to do is run /scripts/restorepkg <username>

    And voila ..

Actually, theres a "Transfer System" In WHM.
He can use that. Much Easier.

Yeah it's easier if you know each client's password. If your client already changed his/her password then it won't work.

If his users have changed their passwords, your new reseller will not know them. He will have to login to his reseller WHM and change every password for every account before you can move them 1 by 1... No way around it. His master password still will not work for transfers because it is actually an FTP issue and not cpanel.
