Move domain from additional to parked without loosing email accounts?

Is this possible?

I have a client that has a additional domain that needs to be changed to parked, but there's a lot of email accounts of this domain that CANNOT be deleted in this process.

How can this be done?
I only have access to cPanel and not WHM.

Well this will require deleting the domain from the account, which in turns deletes the emails for that account as well.

There is a manual method to do this however, which is to make a copy of the accounts for this domain in /home/user/mail and then restore them after the domain has been readded as a parked domain.

You will need to make sure to restore the appropriate permissions as they were previously.
