Default Moving files from redhat partitions to new hard drive on cpanel.

    Ok so here's the story:

Linux Redhat 9 got compromised and hard drive went bonkers, so dedicated server people installed a new hard drive for me and a new OS (Centos 4.1), and then added the old hard drive so i can recover all my files, here is the data:

Your re-installation is complete. Your server is responsive to ICMP, and SSH
requests (see below). Your old primary hard drive is attached to the system as
/dev/hdc for you to restore, or transfer data.

    Disk /dev/hdc: 80.0 GB, 80026361856 bytes
    255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9729 cylinders
    Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/hdc1 * 1 13 104391 83 Linux
    /dev/hdc2 14 274 2096482+ 83 Linux
    /dev/hdc3 275 405 1052257+ 82 Linux swap
    /dev/hdc4 406 9729 74895030 f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
    /dev/hdc5 406 1680 10241406 83 Linux
    /dev/hdc6 1681 2572 7164958+ 83 Linux
    /dev/hdc7 2573 2703 1052226 83 Linux
    /dev/hdc8 2704 9729 56436313+ 83 Linux

    Disk /dev/hda: 80.0 GB, 80026361856 bytes
    255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9729 cylinders
    Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/hda1 * 1 13 104391 83 Linux
    /dev/hda2 14 274 2096482+ 83 Linux
    /dev/hda3 275 405 1052257+ 82 Linux swap
    /dev/hda4 406 9729 74895030 f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
    /dev/hda5 406 1680 10241406 83 Linux
    /dev/hda6 1681 2572 7164958+ 83 Linux
    /dev/hda7 2573 2703 1052226 83 Linux
    /dev/hda8 2704 9729 56436313+ 83 Linux

Now the problem is that i'm awfull at shell, so i was wondering if it's possible to transfer these files/partitions to the new hard drive via Cpanel?

You have to do it using shell.. ask for some admin if you can not do it... that is the best way, you have lot of things to do..

You cannot just copy the partition contents. There's a good guide on doing exactly what you need over at EV1, which I have used many many times:

Read the whole thread. If you don't know how to do any of it, you'll need to hire a server admin to help you.

Ok i guess it's a bit advanced for me, specially since the server people alredy did the mounting and now i'm a bit lost, here's the email:

I took the liberty of mounting all your Filesystems for you. Here are the
    commands that I used

    mkdir /Backup
    mkdir /Backup/hdc1
    mkdir /Backup/hdc2
    mkdir /Backup/hdc3
    mkdir /Backup/hdc4
    mkdir /Backup/hdc5
    mkdir /Backup/hdc6
    mkdir /Backup/hdc7
    mkdir /Backup/hdc8
    chmod 755 /Backup -R
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc1
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc2
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc3
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc5
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc6
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc7
    mount /dev/hdc1 /Backup/hdc8

your backup filesystems are located in: /Backup

The 4th Filesystem I started receiving the message either wrong filesystem type
or too many mounted file systems. I think with these commands above you should
be able to figure the rest out on your own.
Question is, how do i recover all my cpanel accounts (with all their contents obviously) from the backup folder (old mounted hdd) to the new hard drive?, also, if possible, my cpanel/whm settings?
