Default Multiple Domains / Accounts Pointing to Same Directory

Hi everyone we're starting up a new company that's based on Wordpress Multiuser Edition (wpmu)... we have the system currently running but we want to add cpanel/whm to the current system...

I'm currently pointing all domains to the same directory (wpmu does the work for finding out which domain is what and what content to show)

We want to setup the new system so that everyone still gets a cpanel account and bandwidth gets tracked etc but we want all the different accounts pointing to the same directory on the system... we will have root access (dedicated box)...

I'm not exactly sure if we're going to have issues.. (box is on order) so does anyone see any problems with this configuration? I know I can do all this through http.conf manually (not sure about bandwidth / webstats tracking )... so here is a couple questions...

    1. If I manually modify my http.conf will whm go and overwrite my settings for all the domains (vhosts)?

    2. Can I setup whm so that all domains point to the same directory.

    3. How exactly doesn't bandwidth usage get tracked?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

You shouldn't go edit httpd.conf without referring to our EasyApache documentation first. Not doing these edits properly will result in your customizations being overwritten. You can read our documentation for custom directives in httpd.conf at:

This functionality is not natively supported at this time. You can probably achieve the same goal by incorporating your own custom unsupported solution such as manually editing httpd.conf.
