Multiple domains on multiple IPs

A fea years ago, i was able to do something very usefull.
I don't know how to say this, but i will try to explain.

For example, i have one server with 10 IP addresses.
On that server i have 100 accounts.

In the past i was able to share multiple IP addresses.
For example i could use one Ip for each 10 of the accounts.
At this moment i am not able to do this anymore.

Is wighter give dedicated IP, or only one shared IP to all accounts.
