I'm setting up a new server, but we're running out of IP's.
Is it a problem to us an two separate IP's that are configured to go through different gateways, and that are not in the same subnet?

it is not a problem it depends on if they are ported to your switch
if your leasing a server they may not allow or restrict to a certain sub nets
but as we own our own switch no problem at all
we run 6 different sub nets though one of our switches.
the only problem you may have is the TTL if you decide to move an ip from server to server from the sub net different than your switch it may take an hour for the IP to figure out where it is![]()
