multiple main shared IP

I need to setup a 2nd main shared IP (if possible) in WHM.

However, it does say "This can only be one address. Do not enter multiple addresses."

If I replace the original with a new one, will this affect all the current accounts using the current original main shared IP?

We have several multiple shared IP's.

We have our main shared IP then we created a reseller and assigned IP for that reseller and made it shared.

Hmmm... ok but I'm referring specifically to the MAIN SERVER shared IP

WHM > Basic cpanel/whm setup > Main Shared Virtual Host IP

Is that what your referring to also?

You need to do this as Randy stated, you can setup a reseller account, with all privleages, and assign a IP, for that reseller to use on all accounts.

I have the same problem.
I've tried the Reseller trick, but the problem is I can't set the shared IP to any other than the server's main shared IP - there's only this one on the drop down list in reseller account's "Shared IP delegation" panel.
And I have plenty of free IPs, I can set single domains to them without problems.

Using WHM 10.8.0 & cPanel 10.8.1-R113
