Multiple name servers on one ip?

Is it possible to have for example, ns1.mydomain.com and ns1.myotherdomain.com both be on the same ip? We want to allow resellers to have private name servers without wasting tons of ip's. Any advice on how to do this?

You don't have to waste tons of IPs, There is a simple way.

Your server is working on two nameservers and IPs, Right ?
Give the resellers their first nameserver "ns1.example.com" your first IP, And their second nameserver "ns2.example.com" your second IP. That can be made from Add a DNS Zone from WHM. Done

Yes, you can assign same IPs to your reseller name servers as well. It won't create any problems.

/etc/nameserverips having one entry per IP address won't cause any problems even if you ask your resellers to use your name server IPs for their name servers.

So if I have ns1.hostseo.org on a specific ip (so in /etc/nameserverips I have 123.123.123.123=ns1.hostseo.org). And then I want a reseller to have ns1.theirdomain.com also on 123.123.123.123, I wouldn't even add that to /etc/nameserverips?

So in WHM, I would just go to add a dns zone and just add ns1.theirdomain.com to ip: 123.123.123.123? Is there anything else that I would need to do?

Did that but the reseller is having problems assigning name servers in godaddy.. it keeps giving an error. Would I need to create a DNS record for the domain too or just the ns1.domain.com?

He must register the nameservers first in his domain control panel with your IPs then give it to his customers.
