    Default MyODBC on Cpanel

    Hi,

    A customer of mine is trying to setup phplive on his account and connect to it using phplivewin.

    There has been a few problems in doing this, and the developer of it is now asking what version of MyODBC the client has on the server...the client has asked this question in turn to me and I am unsure what the answer is.

    Am I right in thinking that the actual ODBC thing comes from the persons PC and not from the server? I always thought that was how it connected.

    Cheers.

    Is this on a Linux box?

    If so the phplive setup should be using, $DATABASETYPE = 'mysql' ;

    Hi,

    It is indeed on a linux box, and from what i can gather, the phplive is working fine, but the phpliveWin runs as a windows application which connects using ODBC i believe.
