MySQL Backups

Under the " Site Management Tools / Backup " utility (inside Cpanel) I have this error displayed:

DBI connect('mysql:localhost','root',...) failed: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Mysql.pm line 42

Has anyone else seen this?

i see the same problem too several days ago, upgrading to current CPanel fix this problem for me.

Try resetting the password from within WHM to a blank password, then reseting to the correct pass.

This seems to clear things out for me.
