Default MySQL Causing High Server Load

    NEED HELP!

MySQL is using up a lot of resources even with NO mysql processes running and after a server reboot and MySQL restart.

Please look at the screenshot of usage history:

    http://www.rcthost.com/mysql.gif

How often is Server Status & CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage History updated?

This can't be normal. There are 400 accounts on the server but not many mysql processes running. I have another server with 200 accounts using more mysql processes but using far less CPU resources.

    Any help would be appriciated!!!

Default How you made this view?

Hi, just a question, how you did this HTML view of your MySQL CPU usage?

    Thanks!

I just did a screen shot (Print Screen) and edited the image to just show the mysql processes and uploaded the gif.

Doesn't anyone have any tips? It's in the RED now... 19% CPU, 14% Memory, ZERO Processes.

    Top Process %CPU 84.5 /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir/ --datadir/var/lib/mysql --usermysql --pid-file/var/lib/mysql/ds1.rcthost.com.pid --skip-locking

If anyone know anything please reply! Thanks!

Log into your server via SSH and run
mysqladmin processlist to see what queries are taking place ATM, this will help identifying the site that is causing the load.

Thanks for that tip, but I have checked that through WHM many times and there is always only a few sleeping process, nothing that would explain such high resource usage. Well I guess it doesn't matter now anyway as I am forced to move to a new dedicated server because my data center offers no support. I am moving to fastservers.net which is a great company with great support, I already have a ded there.

    Thanks!
