MySQL connections fail using x3 theme, works with x theme - why??

Hi,

We've found this problem on a few servers - working MySQL scripts/connections stop working.

Trying to update the password doesn't work. Creating a new MySQL user with stronf password doen't work(obviously changing the relevant details in the scripts).

But when changing the Cpanel account theme from "x3" to "x", deleting the MySQL user, and then re-creating the exactly same original MySQL username with the original password and adding it to the MySQL database - MySQL scripts/connections start working again?

Anyone know anything about this? Because it's awfully frustrating for everyone!

I did And it's been fixed.

For some reason, the upgrade to MySQL5 had failed, so support forced it in, and then I repaired all the tables.

Works perfect now!
