mysql data base problem

any help plaese

i installed the php my chat on my website and it didnt work. It made a new mysql data base which i got rid. The website cant access the orginal database which is still in the localhost area. Does anyone know how i can get the orginal database to appeaer in the mysql acounts maintance area

Okay.. to clear up a few things..

You install an application that needs a DB but you got rid of it?

You want phpMyChat (is that the name) to point to a new/old DB that's still in the mySQL Server?

Sorry !
no iv given up on the chat program for the time being and got rid of the database that it created. There was an orginal database which the website needs to run. this is still there but i cant access it using php but i can see it in the cpanel mysql database access panel.
