Just as the title says. After getting the httpd fixed (it still shows as failed along with mysql and eximstats in Service Status) and the site running, I am unable to get Mysql to run properly. When I try to access mysql, I get the following:
mysql
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)


I set the password via WHM but it says 'fail'. I also pretty much ran everything on this forum, from the last few threads. I currently have the following versions:

Cpanel S114
mysql 4.1.18
httpd 1.3.36

Any ideas what I can try?
